Our Story

Beau and I met at college, Rowan University, in September 2004.  Beau was a senior and I was a junior.  We met through a mutual friend whom I went to high school with and Beau lived with at Rowan. The bizarre thing is that I was sort of "seeing" this mutual friend, but it was nothing serious.  The first thing Beau said to me was "Jeanne! that's awesome, that's my sisters name." He was such a goofball, but a good-looking one.  For the next couple of months a group of us hung out all of the time and Beau and I began to flirt more and more.  Our mutual friend did not want us to see each other, but we did anyway.  Our friendship quickly blossomed into a relationship and we began having so much fun together. We had fallen in love and everyone knew it.  In March 2005, we got a puppy Rottweiler named Roxy.  She has brought us even closer because we are sharing the responsibility of another life.

April 13, 2005 was the best birthday I ever had.  First of all it was my 21st birthday, but more importantly it was the night that Beau proposed to me.  It was only after five months of being together, but like Beau always says "when ya know, ya know and I knew!"  We have been engaged for over a year now and I am so happy.  Sure, we've had our ups and downs, but we are able to talk through things and communicate with each other and we are stronger for that.

Not a day goes by where Beau doesn't make me smile and I love that about him.  His my one and only and I will love him always and forever.
