Bridal Shower

Well the bridal shower went off without a hitch on June 3, 2007.  Jeanne was as surprised as ever.  She works in the family business and mom and sister Jennifer had a tough time trying to keep the secret with Jeanne right in the middle of everything we did.  Mom (Eleanor) even made soy candles as the shower favor right under Jeanne's nose and she had no idea.  To view some of the pictures from the shower, click here. Bridal Party Flowers

The flowers are well underway and the task is being undertaken by Eleanor (mother of the bride), Jeanne (bride), Jennifer (sister and bridesmaid) and Donna (groom's mother).  The four of us met in the Weightman Family Business warehouse for a few nights to get the job done.

Bridesmaids flowers started out with white roses but were spray painted with Dusty Rose fabric paint to give them a two-tone color of rose and white.  These bouquets will be getting their final touches of ribbons and pearls to complete the job.

Jeanne's bridal flowers are complete except for tulle and ribbons.  The bride's flowers are all in white roses at all different stages of flower from bud to full blossom.

Erika's (Flower Girl) flowers are complete.  They are all in white carnations with a touch of pretty pinnk satin tea roses placed inside to match the bridesmaids colors.

Still to come are the corsages and buttoneires, as well as the Bride's Throw Bouquet and he church flowers and pew bows.

Bridal Party Attire

The bride, bridesmaids, flower girl and Mother-of-the Bride have already acquired their gowns.  Alterations are underway. 

Groom, Fathers, Best Man, Ring Bearer and Ushers will be getting a call about the tuxedo fittings soon.

Rehearsal

The wedding ceremony rehearsal will be held on Friday, August 24th at Sacred Heart Church and the bridal party is requested to attend. The rehearsal will be followed by dinner at 8 pm for the Bridal Party hosted by Donna Jeanne Barger and George Barger.  The restaurant will be announced at a later date.
